Monty Evans - General Manager - Hi I'm Monty and I've been with NRS Accountants for over a year. My responsibility is to look after the Day to day running of our offices. Our dedicated team is important to me and I look after them as well as reporting to the line-managers and Directors. Part of my key responsibilities is supplier management and invoicing and I have a vast experience in this field. I obtained my BSc (hons) in Computer Science at Middlesex University.

Helen Sysum - Compliance Officer - Hi I'm Helen and I have been working with NRS Accountants since day one, apart from my time off to have my children. My duties are mainly behind the scenes as I deal with the day to day operations of our own internal accounts and ensure that our systems, licensing and quality control is all up to date. I have completed qualifications at Worcester College and put these to good use when dealing with the office accounts for both the payroll and accountancy office. I share and helped develop the companies vision of an accountancy business that cares for its clients' and work hard to ensure that we are able to continue giving the quality of service that our clients are used to. It is a pleasure to work in such an exciting and rewarding business and I am pleased to continue to promote our all important company values both now and in the future.

Liz Duggan - Payroll Manager - Liz has been working in payroll for NRS Accountants under Three Counties Payroll since 2010 and became the payroll manager for in 2013. Liz is a very dedicated member of our team and strives to improve not only our services but also the way in which we operate with our clients. During 2014 she is planning to take a degree in payroll management to further add to her current skill set.

 

 

Gail Hopkins - Accounts Manager - Hi I’m Gail.  I joined NRS accounts in November 2009 after completing my AAT training at Worcester College in June 2009.  I have a background in Mechanical Engineering and Quality Assurance Management, but decided to retrain in 2007 after starting a family.  Being involved in all aspects of the accounting activities and applying the knowledge I gained at College makes it an enjoyable environment to work in.

 

 

 

Tonina Westgate - Accounts Manager - Tonina joined NRS Accountants in 2014, as an AAT Qualified Accountant. Tonina has been working directly with many of our clients and has been praised for her excellent manner and her skill set - Tonina is planning to grow her client base in the Licensed Trade sector and is also trained to cover our Payroll Department.

Lisa Haigh - Credit Control - Lisa deals with all aspects of credit control and is new to NRS Accountants in 2013. Lisa has been instrumental in implementing our new billing systems, automated invoices and statements and uses these skills and expertise for both our internal accounts and those of our clients.

Amy Smith - Accounts Trainee - Amy Smith Joined NRS Accountants in 2013 as an Accountancy Apprentice. She is currently studying AAT at Kidderminster College. Amy looks after bookkeeping and VAT submissions for a large volume of clients under the watchful eye of our accounts managers who constantly praise her attention to detail and high standards of work...

Shaun Wetson - Stocktaker Midlands - I have been working in and around the licensed trade all my working life, starting off from a position as Wines & Spirits Manager at Booker Cash & Carry, Gloucester before taking a job with Austens Ltd working as a Stocktaker based at the head office in Gloucester, after a gap year away travelling I returned to work carrying out stocktaking under the name of JK Limited for the last seven years and am proud to have teamed up with NRS Accountants supporting the Licensed Trade Clients all across the midlands. We all work together to ensure our clients get the best services available with their pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants.

 

Pauline Sysum - CIS, Payroll and HR Consultancy  - Training Office Manager - Pauline has been working in the payroll/bookkeeping sector for 20+ years.  She continues to support NRS Accounts as a payroll specialist helping out and providing advice when needed.  As well as owning her own payroll business she is an accredited training provider with the International Association of Bookkeepers, offering payroll and accountancy courses in both the manual and computerised options.  Whether dealing with clients or students Pauline believes in providing a top quality service in a friendly and professional manner.

 

David Winepress & Michael Willcoks- Accountancy Consultants Lisenced Trade Specialists North - David Winepress has been involved in Financial Management in the licensed trade for over 35 years. He has held management positions in both the wine & spirit and brewery trade. His last appointment before going out on his own was as Managing Director of Higsons Brewery retail wine & spirit division, which was where he met Michael Willcocks. 

Michael Willcocks has spent over 40 years in the brewery trade. He started as a brewery pupil, working his way up to becoming an area manager. He did a spell in the city advising clients on brewery investments. In the mid 80’s he was appointed Assistant Managing Director of Higsons Brewery PLC. Following this he became Chairman of Buckley’s Brewery PLC.  

In 1996 David Winepress & Michael Willcocks decided to combine the benefits of their different areas of expertise and form a company specialising in both financial and general management for the licensed trade.

Working with NRS Accountants and Three Counties Payroll has been a breath of fresh air for us. It's fantastic to find an innovative and exciting team that truly understands what the Licensed Trade is all about. Their dynamic and unique approach is incredible and we are proud to be working with them. Rob & Chris Smith - VAT, Bookkeeping and Management Reporting, Midlands

We have always worked in an accounts environment and have now specialised in VAT for 12 years. We cover all aspects of the book keeping and analysis with primarily Vat returns and Management reports as our end product.

Attending many Vat inspections on behalf of our clients we have met and established a good rapport with a number of HMRC inspectors and also have a good insight of what is to be expected & the preparation required. Thus giving us invaluable experience.
