Neil Sysum - Senior Partner- Hi I'm Neil and I am the Operating Manager and Senior Accountant in the firm. I first started in Accountancy as a Bookkeeper and Payroll Manager after leaving a financial background as a senior accounts manager in a multi - national finance company. Whilst training as an Accountant I continued to work in this area and, once qualified, I set up NRS Accountants in Worcester supporting local businesses and licensed trade clients all across the UK. Since 2004 I have also been an award winning key member of the Business, Management and Professional Team at Worcester College of Technology. I am also the Course Director for IAB and AAT Certificate within this sucessful department. In the acountancy field I was somewhat frustrated with the standards of accountancy work I had seen and was underwhelmed by the service standards our industry had to offer. Why did it have to be like this? the truth is it didn't and NRS Accountants was born, some say I was mad but I knew it was the right thing to do and our numerous happy, longstanding clients can't all be wrong. I love what I do and am so proud of my team and what they offer our clients. I think everyone who works in our industry needs to remember one simple fact - Accountancy is a service industry and we will be judged by what we do as well as the way in which we do it!

Geoff Howell - Senior Partner - Hi I’m Geoff and I’ve been with NRS for about 3 years now. I used to be a project manager in the defence industry but eventually saw the light and retrained as an accountant. I studied for AAT and IAB qualifications at Worcester College and have since been back there working as a part-time lecturer. I’m really enjoying my time here at NRS – it’s great to meet a wide range of people from differing backgrounds, but it’s most important to prove that accountancy can be fun! I am proud of my team as they all work hard to ensure we follow our company mission by giving the best of our abilities at all times.

Emma-Jayne Nash - Senior Partner - Hi! My name's Emma & I have been with NRS for over three years.  I started working part-time whilst studying at Worcester College for my AAT qualification I also completed my Payroll Qualifications at the same time.  A complete change of career for me as I was once a pub landlady & had been for around ten years.  Three years on and I have succeeded in my studies and gained all my qualifications. I now work full time as Payroll Manager and I can honestly say I very much enjoy the job I do. I also have a great team and am proud to head up this section of the office.  Being the Senior Department Manager means I get to deal with all the nitty gritty payroll bits and pieces and our department works hard to give the best services we can at all times.
